Service Description

Take a step into our space of transformation, where old becomes new and ordinary turns extraordinary. This workshop is an introduction to working with a combination of decoupage papers and acrylic paints. We have partnered with Mint mineral paints and Decoupage papers. Both Mint by Michelle Mineral paints and Decoupage papers are Australian made. This workshop is the perfect precursor for upcycling furniture. This workshop gives you the opportunity to get hands on with the products before taking on a larger project. We will be working with the paints and papers on canvas enabling you to practice the successful application of papers and blending with the paints and the use of corresponding paint colours with decoupage sheets to create a seamless finish. Decorative painted furniture is a way of expressing yourself through creating your own bespoke piece, turning it into a one-of-a-kind treasure. At the same time upcycling and creating another story for a piece of furniture that may have otherwise been left by the wayside. Once you have experienced one of our workshops you will find yourself reimagining everything from vintage dressers, chairs to cabinets, lamps, vases to doors, tables to suitcases. The possibilities are endless. So, take the first step with our introduction workshop. What is included: Everything that you will need. We provide your canvas boards, paints, decoupage paper, brushes, apron to protect your clothing. You will have the choice between the Angel or the bouquet for your canvas. We also provide a variety of teas, coffee, mocha, hot chocolate served with cake or biscuits. For evening classes wine glasses are available if you choose to BYO What to bring: Your Fabulous Self “A little eccentricity goes a long way in terms of longevity of the design and décor that you are executing.” -Tommy Smythe- Interior Designer
